Working with some direction, identifies core marketing competencies and builds competency model required for marketers at all stages of their career to be successful at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Collaborates with Marketing Excellence Intern - Marketing to understand learner competencies
• Determines best assessment structure, using the functionality of learning management system (LMS)
• Collaborates with Marketing ExcellenceIntern - Marketing to identify measurable behaviors for each competency
• Writes assessment questions to align with each competency with assistance from Marketing Excellence Intern - Marketing
• Works with LMS admin to ensure each competency is correctly defined and tied to correct assessment questions in system
• Given list of available materials and any recommendations, identifies appropriate learning that addresses each competency
• Validates assessment with pilot learners

• Demonstrated understanding of basic adult learning concepts with in-person and virtual application
• Ability to create valid and reliable assessment questions
• High comfort level with reaching out into the organization to make new connections and leveraging those connections to identify information or practical examples to support the competency model
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and to focus in on where help or clarification is needed
• Ability to lay out complex information in an understandable and usable format
• Project management, organization and priority setting skills

• Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
