If you wish to further develop your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations we are looking for a new Gateway & Procurement Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity to join our Air Logistics team. Your Role The Gateway Coordinator is responsible for coordination of all aspects of air export shipments worldwide: arrange bookings with the airlines, process and prepare all documents needed, negotiate freight rates with the airlines, provide superior customer service. Your Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and ongoing commitment to quality and data integrity, prepare, handle and process documentation needed for air export consolidations, and interact and collaborate closely with the air export departments in the region.
  • Arrange bookings with carriers; optimize cargo consolidations, ensure timely processing and delivery to the airport; constant communication with the warehouse team and truck dispatch during the consolidation process, and track & trace shipments; monitor vendor performance; address and resolve service irregularities.
  • Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal customers, maintain compliance standards at all times, including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations, customer requirements, and meet key performance indicators (KPIs) to support department, branch, product, and company goals.
  • Responsible for daily updating and monitoring of reporting tools, understanding department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency, and supporting the pricing team on rate quotes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); communicates clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, and comprehend.
  • Proactive; strong planning and organizational skills, the candidate must be detail-oriented, thorough, and accurate with the ability to efficiently solve problems; proven analytical skills.
  • Ability to be profit conscious, independently as well as part of a team, to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks and work with demanding deadlines.
  • Proficient computer skills (solid data entry with high accuracy rate, email, internet, excel, word, etc.)
  • Solid knowledge of export procedures/documentation is a plus, and good knowledge of international geography including countries, and major cities.
