We are looking for a developer who has a desire to work on some "old-school" C# .Net applications, but also be given the opportunity to work within some of our Azure data layer development for Salesforce.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Work directly with the business client and communicate to the user in a non-technical manner.

Use Experience with RPA software such as UIPath and Nintex.

Acts as a liaison with Project Leaders, Business Analysts, Integration Analysts, and other team members to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems.

Assists in the preparation and documentation of program requirements and specifications.

Conducts research on and recommends emerging application development software products, tools, languages and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.

Searches, summarizes and keeps the team abreast of strategic information from all sources.

Performs effective mentoring of junior staff members.

Provides recommendations to management concerning issues of programmer productivity and software development processes.

Consistently writes, translates and codes software programs and applications according to specifications.

Runs and monitors software performance tests (including Unit, System, Integration, Performance, and ad-hoc troubleshooting) on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement and general debugging.

Administers critical analysis of test results and delivers solutions to problem areas and provides feedback to analysis/training staff about performance considerations/usability issues concerning software specifications and implementations.

Recommends, schedules, performs and coordinates software improvements and upgrades.

Facilitates and participates in code reviews.

Seeks training and development activities related to the industry.

Develops, integrates and upholds standards, processes and procedures for the department.

Establishes and fosters relationship within the department.

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

• Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university in the field of computer science or software engineering; and/or eight or more years equivalent work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five years software development experience.
• Experience in the financial industry, a plus.
• Three years of C#/.Net development experience is required.
• Experience developing in Azure and Restful API's is a plus.
• Developing event-based processing experience, preferred.
• SQL development experience and understanding is required.
• Hands-on software trouble-shooting experience.
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
• You should be prepared to make decisions independently but also collaboratively; a "team player".
