Trimble is looking for a Senior UX designer who is interested in leading the design for the workflows and products across multiple platforms within our civil construction software and hardware. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with cross-platform solutions while bridging the gap between positioning hardware, heavy machinery, and software for all of our end users in our global markets.

You will be leading and executing the user experience research, assisting with product strategy and leading the creation of key platform services that will tie together the platform user experience across a number of construction services for our civil construction professionals. You will be creating workflows across web, mobile, and our proprietary platforms. This is an opportunity to define the core of Trimble's platform experience strategy and apply your leadership skills.

  • Create the information architecture for a componentized and configurable service offer

  • Work with other internal teams to work out the entire customer journey

  • Skilled with conducting research, and leveraging data to inform design strategy & direction

  • An interest in designing for engineering professionals and highly technical applications

  • An innovative & strategic thinker who is skilled in interaction design, prototyping and comfortable working with new technologies

  • Comfortable working with global cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders

  • A willingness and interest in working on a team and obtaining design feedback from other UX Designers

  • An undergraduate or masters degree in user experience design, human-computer interaction, interaction design or the like
