Job Description

Execute or participate in complex compliance, operational, information technology, and financial audits, as well as consulting projects under the supervision of a senior member of the audit team. Complete the planning, perform testing, identify and communicate issues, create audit reports to appropriate management levels, and drive change in the business. Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls. Communicate relevant observations to key stakeholders and collaborate with different business partners to establish remediation action plans from the issues identified. Work with business leaders to obtain updates and track issue remediation by established deliverable dates. Collaborate with business partners to balance business strategy with risk management controls. Partner with the Data Analytics team to design full/large population testing approaches. Lead audit projects and business conversations to identify risks and controls for testing. Occasional travel may be required up to 5% of the time. Partial telecommuting may be permitted up to 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to 7001 E. Belleview Ave., Denver, CO 80237. Salary Range: $89,710 to $127,000 per year.

Minimum Requirements: Requires a Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Business, Accounting, Auditing, Global Affairs and Management, or related field plus 1 year of professional experience as an Auditor or any occupation/position/job title involving Internal Audit.

Must also have the following special skills:

1 year of professional experience with US and Global Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing and Money Service Business (MSB); 1 year of professional experience performing Internal Audit testing and evaluation of Information Technology and Systems; 1 year of professional experience reviewing Risk and Control Identification and Documentation; 1 year of professional experience performing Design and Effectiveness Control Testing; and 1 year of professional experience using SQL Data analytics Tool and Audit Documentation Tool.

Referral Bonus - $500 (Subject to Employee Referral Policy). Eligible to internal employees only.

Annual base salary gross: $89,710 to $127,000 USD. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union's total compensation package for employees.
