Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Treasury to join our Finance leadership team. This role will oversee the organization's treasury operations activities (credit collections, cash management, accounts payable), manage liquidity, risk management, and ensure the optimal long-term capital structure of the company. They will direct activities in multiple treasury processes including capital and risk management, investment strategies, and banking relationships. Collaboration with various functional teams is essential, and active participation in senior leadership committees is expected.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to Senior Leadership, Board members, Committee members or other outside partners.
  • An attitude to challenge the status quo, managing with a sense of urgency through ambiguities with a desire to consistently raise the bar.
  • Ownership mentality and demonstrated ability to independently drive projects to completion, with great attention to detail.

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

  • Manage and lead Treasury operations, including credit and collections, accounts payable, and treasury operations. Establish and maintain company-wide Treasury processes, policies, and internal controls across all legal entities.
  • Manage and coordinate all external financing relationships, executing both new and renewal bank and debt agreements. Determine, implement, and oversee necessary processes, services, and resources for debt agreements, credit, banking, and corporate card operations.
  • Develop and execute the company's treasury strategy, including cash management, capital allocation, funding, and foreign exchange to maximize financial efficiency, flexibility, and profitability.
  • Stay abreast of developments in capital markets and business environments that can affect the company's financial performance.
  • Oversee the company's risk management program, including insurance, hedging, and derivatives, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and manage customer credit policies and procedures that align with company sales objectives while managing risk effectively. Collaborate closely with the sales team to facilitate customer financing options that support sales targets without compromising financial stability.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing treasury team, and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence to ensure the treasury strategy is implemented effectively, consistently, and according to established guidelines.
  • Partner with Benco's senior management, the board of directors, and external stakeholders to provide treasury insights, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the treasury function, leveraging technology and best practices to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and support company growth objectives.

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

  • Bachelor's Degree - Accounting required.
  • Master's Degree and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Senior Treasury role within a large corporation, preferably distribution, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity
