Responsibilities
The primary mission of the Industry Process Consultant is to reveal to customers and Value Added Resellers the full value of our 3DEXPERIENCE Works portfolio. You'll inspire and equip our ecosystem to re-engineer their processes to leverage Works roles including SOLIDWORKS and so much more enterprise capability (design, governance, simulation, manufacturing, and marketing).
As a member of the world-wide SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE Works Industry Process Consultant (IPC) team, you will enable technical sales organizations across the globe with best-in-class assets and knowledge transfer. Our team serves as a hub for product knowledge and pre-sales proficiency for thousands of field staff. As a member of the Process Execution group, you will start with projects such as channel communications, facilitating voice-of-field feedback, and asset management.
You will have ample opportunity to develop your product CAD/CAE/PLM expertise and professional skills. You will work cross-functionally to execute initiatives that impact a $1B+ business unit, including the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, SOLIDWORKS, and the cross-brand Works portfolio. We also make digital content and produce regular livestreams to support technical marketing. As a software, industry, and communications expert, you will have the potential to massively influence the mainstream CAD market.
Qualifications
4-5 years as a technical sales or technical support engineer in the CAD/CAM/CAE/PDM/PLM software ecosystem.
Technical writing, channel communications, and/or content creation experience.
Strong live and virtual communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrable expertise with mainstream CAD software such as SOLIDWORKS, CATIA, Inventor, Fusion 360, Onshape, Creo, NX, SolidEdge, and similar.
Experience working for and/or using cloud-based or SaaS solutions.
Experience with video production
Ability to work and collaborate in a virtual team environment: including strong personal organization, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Plus: experience leading team and group projects.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
