Maxar is currently seeking an Insider Threat and Counterintelligence Security Manager to join our team in Westminster, CO. In this role, you will have oversight and management responsibilities for the Insider Threat Program, Security Counterintelligence, Corporate Investigations and the Travel Safety Program.

Insider Threat Responsibilities:

  • Management, oversight and execution oftheMaxar Insider ThreatProgram
  • Conduct in-depth strategic analysis of intelligence data from various internal and external data sources
  • Perform threat analysis utilizing threat analytic tools in order to detect anomalous activity that would pose a risk to the company
  • USG agencies focal for Insider Threat investigations
  • Provide support for incident response and investigation efforts alongside Maxar's Commercial and Classified Cyber Operations, Human Resources, Compliance, and Security Business Partners

Counterintelligence Responsibilities:

  • Oversightandmanagement of the Maxar Counterintelligencefunctionfor all commercial and classified programs and activities.
  • Develop, foster, and advance relationships with theU.S. Intelligence Community and federal, state and local law enforcementagencies.
  • Participate ingovernment agency administered CI and insider threat working groups
  • USG agencies focal for Counterintelligence activities

Corporate Investigations:

  • Assist Maxar HR, Legal and Security teams withemployeemisconduct and compliancerelated investigations and/or provide investigative consultation services
  • Assist the Maxar Cyber and Security teams withcyber investigations involvingall forms of threatactors

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen with active Top Secret clearance and be willing and able to obtain SCI accesses
  • Bachelor's degree in related field. Four additional years of work experience may be substituted for a degree
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with security analytics, fraud, threat intelligence, or counterintelligence
  • Ability to accommodate some travel

Preferred Requirements:

  • Current/active TS/SCI
  • Experience with data loss prevention and endpoint detection tools such as Crowdstrike
  • Experience with user behavior analytic tools such Exabeam
  • Experience with commercial and Open Source data analysis platforms
  • Experience working with internal and external customers
  • Ability to produce security policies and procedures

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate's unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$108,000.00 - $180,000.00 annually.


Additionally, this position is incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved; the specific incentive plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions.
