Description

Northwest Respiratory Services is a company that is new to the Denver area and we are currently seeking a Medical Oxygen Service Technician to join our team. As a Medical Oxygen Service Technician, you will play a crucial role as the face of our company, providing empathetic and highly accurate communication to support the health and quality of life of our customers. Your main responsibilities will include educating patients on the proper use of their equipment, troubleshooting any issues that may arise, and ensuring that patients are using their equipment safely and effectively.

Pay:

  • $5,000 Hiring Bonus
    • $1,500 on first paycheck
    • $1,500 after 6 months
    • $2,000 after 1 year
  • $20-$26 hourly rate

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday Flexible start times 7:00am-8:30am
    • Local routes. Be home every night.
  • On-Call rotation with premium pay

A day in the life:

  • Make deliveries in a straight truck or van, up to 16 feet in length
  • Deliver and educate on safe use and care of respiratory equipment at each patient's residence.
  • Document patient interactions for compliance and billing accuracy
  • Resolve patient equipment problems on an as needed basis
Qualifications

Our top candidate will have:

  • A valid Commercial Drivers License, minimum of a Class C. With Tanker and Hazmat endorsements. (Hazardous material is Liquid Oxygen.
  • Acceptable criminal background check and motor vehicle record check
  • Pass a mandated drug test, a physical capability test, and DOT Physical
    • Ability to lift, pull, push and carry heavy equipment daily. (Up to 165lbs.)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • A desire to work with the public and help others obtain a better quality of life
