Job Overview

The Director, Digital Marketing at Children's Hospital Colorado Foundation will oversee, collaborate, and participate in the development of digital marketing strategies. This supervisory role will manage and lead a team of digital marketing professionals to plan, build, and implement digital strategies and create daily operational processes that support the Foundation's marketing programs and fundraising campaigns.

In collaboration with the Senior Director, Marketing, this role will oversee implementation of all digital channels to attract, convert, and retain donors and increase revenue.As the lead for digital marketing channels (email, social media, website, digital media), this role manages all aspects of digital campaign production including digital content creation, search engine optimization, loading and testing content in various digital systems, and post-campaign analytics to ensure the effectiveness of all channels and digital marketing ROI.

Partnering with agencies, this position works cross-functionally to support business unit initiatives, make continuous improvements in digital marketing campaigns and systems, manage cross-promotional philanthropic efforts with hospital marketing colleagues, and support digital campaigns and back-end web development. This position reports to the Senior Director, Marketing.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university in journalism, marketing, strategic communications, or digital communications is required. No equivalency.

This position requires a minimum of six to eight of years professional experience leading people and managing successful digital campaigns that drive sales or fundraising results.

Hybrid job with 50% or more in office requirement

Responsibilities

The Director, Digital Marketing will have the following skills or an ability to demonstrate:

  • Expertise creating organic social and paid digital campaigns, content creation, website strategy, email campaigns, and other digital efforts that convert to bottom line revenue.
  • Create digital fundraising strategies based on organizational goals and work with other business units to create digital solutions for their programmatic needs.
  • High familiarity with digital analytic tools (Google Analytics, Meta, etc.), campaign management tools such as Sprout Social and HubSpot, and CRM systems such as Blackbaud CRM.
  • Proven experience analyzing data and optimizing digital revenue campaigns. Creates continual data-driven recommendations for all digital efforts.
  • Experience managing digital agencies and supervising staff.
  • Proficient skills in Blackbaud Luminate Online or other CRM/email, WordPress, and project management platforms such as Asana
  • Project management skills and the ability to establish project plans and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, agency partners, internal and external stakeholders and be a strong team player.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Proven ability to produce results in an ever-changing digital landscape and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Must strongly believe in the mission of a hospital dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of children.

Responsible for hiring, managing, coaching, mentoring, modeling best practices, conducting 1:1s, managing payroll functions, and day-to-day performance of direct reports.

Digital Marketing Strategy - Knowledge of digital concepts, techniques, and platforms to approach strategic planning and suggest design; apply expertise and awareness of current trends to lead collaborative efforts for digital marketing ideas that generate successful outcomes.

Salary Information

Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $91,000.00 to $115,000.00
Hourly Salary Range: $43.75 to $55.29
