Responsibilities

Career level with a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts. Working under only general direction, provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 5 - 7 years of experience, or a Master's and 3 to 5 years of experience. Performs analysis of budgets and schedules needed to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned portions of a program or programs. Prepares reports of findings and recommendations to management. Develops and implements fiscal operating policies and procedures. May provide analysis on business development and may monitor business performance by unit, division or brand. Defines and develops key performance indicators; analyzing and interpreting financial and operational performance and tracks key operational objectives and strategic initiatives to improve the efficiency and profitability of the business units. Analyzes financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making financial decisions. Assembles spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports.

Major Responsibilities:

    Work with program managers to track actuals against forecasts
  • Assist program teams with developing Estimates at Completes and tracking actuals against it
  • Tracking of material and ODC purchases
  • Forecast revenue across several programs
  • Ensure invoices are submitted timely
  • Ad hoc reporting as requested
Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Experience with product, manufacturing, and/or defense contracting
  • Program Finance experience
  • Telecommuting is an option but must be in the local area.

Required skills:

  • Solid understanding of all government contract types and related contract terms and conditions
  • Knowledge of revenue recognition rules and regulations on varying contract types
  • Costpoint Project Setup proficiency (includes set up of the WBS, revenue, billing, ceilings, funding, PLCs, etc.

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
