Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Federal Contracts Administrator II, we'll count on you to:

  • Administer the full life cycle of contract support with moderate to high risk to the corporation
  • Perform non-routine contract activity, which may require development of specialized contract templates and techniques to accomplish business goals and objectives
  • Provide proposal pricing support and review
  • Exercise independent judgment and analysis of significant issue identification and resolution, consulting with supervisor as needed
  • Apply knowledge of contracting concepts, and follow and enforce company and client requirements
  • Coordinate closely with all parties involved
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of contracts or related experience
  • Working knowledge of contracting concepts and company and client requirements
  • Professional, self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented with the flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, with minimal management oversight
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, including complex Excel spreadsheets with formulas
  • Excellent writing and people skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is desired, but years of experience may substitute for degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of government contracts and/or proposal pricing experience
  • Experience with government contracting regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and externally to maximize performance, creativity, and problem solving
  • Have a strong commitment to customer service and have the ability to plan and manage multiple tasks often within highly demanding time frames
  • Ability to build and understand pricing models

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. The expected compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000. Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.
