US News & World Report places CU Denver's School of Public Affairs as a whole at number 25 nationally, tied with Duke University, Georgetown University and several other prominent institutions. Four of SPA's concentrations are ranked in the top 25 programs nationally. This position will establish and maintain a pool of candidates to fill temporary, non-tenure track Lecturer positions for the School of Public Affairs. Candidates hired from this pool may teach undergraduate courses in the Bachelors of Public Administration (BAPA) or Bachelor of Criminal Justice (BACJ) programs, or graduate level courses in the school's Master of Public Administration program (MPA) or Masters of Criminal Justice (MCJ) program.
The hiring rate (or budgeted rate) for this position has been established at $4,770 per 3 credit hour course.
The above salary rate represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate at the time of posting.
